Doris L. Martens

In Loving Eternal Memory

Doris L. Martens, 85,  of Plainfield, passed away peacefully Oct. 17, 2016, at JFK Hartwyck in Plainfield. She was born in Drums, Pa., then grew up in Hazelton, Pa., before moving to Plainfield 63 years ago. Doris, a homemaker, was the daughter of the Late Stephen and Agnes Haraschak. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church in Dunellen. Doris loved flowers and spent a good deal of her time gardening.

Surviving is her loving husband Donald,  3 sons, Mark of Plainfield, Paul and his wife Deborah of Bushkill, Pa., Michael and his wife Doreen of Sayreville, and 4 grandchildren.

Visiting will be Thurs. 2-4 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a Divine Liturgy on Fri. 9:30AM at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church. Interment will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in So. Plainfield.
