Tom Sheenan has been an active part of the Funeral Home since 1959. Tom is a Graduate of St. Peters College in New Jersey. He enlisted in the US Army for two years and graduated from the McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science in Manhattan with honors. He is also the first U.S. funeral director to attain the degree of "Certified Funeral Service Practitioner." Following in his father's footsteps Tom is a member of the Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus. Tom has served as president to the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and of the Middlesex/Somerset Chapter. He was also President of the National Association of Approved Morticians and is still an active member. Chris Siceloff is a licensed funeral director who joined the Sheenan Funeral Home staff in 2013. A 1990 graduate of the University of Georgia, Chris has extensive experience in the hospitality management field. Deciding a career change was in order, he graduated from the Mortuary Science program at Mercer County Community College in 2012. Susan worked many years in her father’s law firm in the great Borough of Dunellen. Additionally she was employed the Superior Court system. Susan decided it was time for a career change and realized that the funeral industry was her calling. Her keen eye for detail contributes greatly to her primary focus in preparation and cosmetology.
Corey Harter graduated from Dunellen High School in 2006, completed one year at Middlesex Community College and graduated from Mercer County Community College Funeral Service Program in December 2010.
Corey is in the process of getting his funeral directors license.
Catherine Lawrence is a licensed funeral director who has been on the staff at the Sheenan Funeral Home for 34 years. She is a graduate of Monmouth University. She graduated Cum Laude from the American Academy McAllister Institute and received the perfect attendance award. After graduating, Catherine began her apprenticeship at the funeral home and now, after 34 years of service for Tom and his families, she is now retired.
