Margaret A Suiter, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home in Piscataway, with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late George and Loretta (Wheeler) Stinson.
Margaret had worked for many years as a pharmaceutical tech for SmithKline Beecham in Piscataway before retiring some years ago. Margaret loved to bowl, she also played bocce and cards with the seniors. She also had a love of traveling, having been to 49 of our 50 states. She was also active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 293. Margaret and her husband John also did volunteer work at the VA Hospital in Lyons, NJ. She also loved watching the Yankees with her favorite player Derek Jeter, as well as watching golf with Tiger Woods. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 61 years John, her dear children, John and companion Linda of Piscataway, Linda Avezzano and husband Frank of New Egypt, NJ and Raymond and wife Saundra of Jackson, NJ. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Frank, Stephanie, Jessica, Antoinette, Ray Jr and Geraldo as well as by her precious great grandchildren Katrina, Brianna and Cody, as well as by her brother Robert Stinson.
A viewing will be held on Thursday April 28 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ. A mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, at 10:00 AM at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Piscataway. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s name to either the Humane Society at humanesociety.org or to St Frances Cabrini Church.
