"Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same".
Josie did just that. I will forever cherish the memories of this past year. Especially when we would go to Walmart. Josie loved the Walmart brand peanut butter bars for $1. I tried to convince her to get a name brand & she told me this was just fine. So I bought a box for myself & she war right! They were delicious!!! For every box Josie bought I bought two for myself. On our way home one day I introduced Josie to Quick Check subs & their frozen coffee lattes with whip cream. While driving back to the house the conversation in the car was the sounds of Josie saying "mmmmm this is so good". Josie would tell me the sub was enough for 2 meals but before I knew it, it was all gone.
Sometimes we would talk at night on the phone, pretty much about nothing at all & the time would fly by. We would get ready to say goodnight & then the next thing we knew we were talking for another 20 minutes. Josie would tell me about the days she worked with my Mom at the school cafeteria. She also looked out for my son when he would go through the lunch line. I remember he would come home & tell me how Miss Josie would give him an extra cookie. Until we met a year ago Josie had no idea the impact & fond memories she gave me & my son of his younger & shy days in school.
Jose would tell me about her family & how proud she was of all of them. She couldn't wait to see her soon to be great grand baby. By the Grace of God, Emily brought baby Cole into this world & Josie was able to meet & kiss him for her very first & last time. What a precious gift I was given to experience that moment with Josie and her family. One I will keep close to my heart forever.
My deepest sympathies to the Vargo family. May the soul of your Mom be at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4 The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. God, who started mankind off in a lovely garden, has promised to restore Paradise on this earth under the rule of His heavenly Kingdom in the hands of the now glorified Jesus Christ. ( Matthew 6:10; “ Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth” ) In that restored Paradise, the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all sickness and disease
