Anna Rose Assante

Anna Rose Assante 37, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at her home in Middlesex, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Somerville, NJ, she is the daughter of Giuseppe and Melania (Coppola) Assante.

Anna Rose had a love of traveling, her favorite place being Naples, Italy. She loved karate, and movies. But more than anything she loved being around her large and loving family. She left this world way too soon, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anna Rose was predeceased by her grandparents, Ralph and Anna Rose Assante, and Joseph and Teresa Copolla. Anna Rose  is survived by her loving parents, Giuseppe and Melania, her adoring brothers Raffaele and Joseph of Middlesex, Joseph’s fiancé Melissa Metallo, her cherished nephew Joe Jr, her many aunt’s uncles, and cousins and her countless friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday August 18 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A mass will celebrated on Friday, August 19 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt Virgin Catholic Church in Middlesex. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Anna Rose’s name to American Brain Tumor Association @ www.abta.org
