Zbigniew “Ziggy” Kepczynski
Ziggy Kepczynski passed away December 19, 2023 at his home in West Columbia, SC. He resided in NJ most of his life until heading south ten years ago.
Born in Holstein, Germany, he was a son of the late Miroslaw and Anna Sagan Kepczynski. Ziggy served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam from 1970-1971. Ziggy was a devoted father, husband, brother, Pop Pop, and friend. He loved fishing and hunting with his brothers. Ziggy loved watching NASCAR, football, old western and war movies. Ziggy created many beautiful pieces of furniture with his amazing carpentry skills and loved sharing his carpentry skills with others. Ziggy will live on in all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
Ziggy is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Julie Kepczynski; daughter, Amy Ann Wenner of Oceanport, NJ; stepson, John Carl Johnson of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Thomas J. Wenner, Hailey Sistar, Cody Sistar, Kaila Ward (Andrew); brothers, John Kepczynski, Michael Kepczynski, Edward Kepczynski (Susie), Chester Kepczynski; sisters, Marianne Mikulicz (Michael), Barbara Kepczynski and a large and loving extended family. Ziggy was predeceased by his parents.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 beginning at 11 am at the Sheenan Funeral Home. A service with military honors will begin at 12:30 that afternoon. Semper Fi
