William Dennis

William “Bill” Dennis, 64,of South Plainfield, NJ, passed away on October 31, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones.

Bill was born in 1959 in Newark, NJ to Edward Dennis and Rose Tango-Dennis (both deceased).  He went to St. Pius X High School in Piscataway, NJ.   He graduated from Kean University and later went on to work as a chemical engineer for The Linde Group for over 30 years.  Bill was an avid volunteer.  He served as president of the HSA for both the Diocese of Metuchen and Our Lady of Fatima in Piscataway. He found great fulfillment in his role as chief organizer for the Our Lady of Fatima annual Feasts. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus, President of the Linde Employee Association, and a soccer coach for Piscataway Soccer Club.

He was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, of 29 years, as well as his children, Joseph (Anna) Krumpfer, Nicole Krumpfer and Kyle Dennis, who he loved immensely.  He cherished his grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Colt, Lilian, and Lena.  He is survived by his sister, Diana (Dominic) Cusanelli, and their children Dominic, Amanda, and Anthony, sister-in-laws, Kathy (Howard,deceased) Henn, and Maggie (Glen) King.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law, H. Edward Gabler, father-in-law and mother- in-law, Edward and Jane Gabler.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 5 from 3:00-6:00 at the Sheenan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 6 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Piscataway.
