Thomas Henry Acerbi Jr., known by many as Tom, born on July 13, 1949, passed away on May 2, 2026, leaving behind many cherished memories with the people who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the laughter he brought to those around him.
Thomas had a lifelong love for bowling and spent many years in leagues, even traveling in his younger years, where he earned numerous awards and accomplishments. His dedication to the sport was honored with his induction into the Bowling Hall of Fame, a recognition he was proud of. More than anything, he enjoyed the friendships, competition, and good times that came with the sport.
Above all, Thomas loved his family deeply and was especially proud of his son, Brian Acerbi. He was proud not only of the life Brian built for himself, but of the man he became—his character, his strength, and the way he cared for his family
Thomas leaves behind his son, Brian Acerbi; daughter-in-law, Mary Acerbi; grandchildren, McKenna Acerbi and Luke Acerbi, who lovingly knew him as “Pop Pop”; his loving girlfriend, Tracy Bennett, and his former wife and lifelong friend, Luann Acerbi.
He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, love of adventure, and the memories he created with family and friends throughout his life.
