Obituary

Scott A. Ackermann, 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Middlesex on, Sunday, June 25, 2023 after a long-complicated battle with health issues. Born in Plainfield, Scott was a lifelong resident of Middlesex. Beloved son, brother, and father; Scott was born on November 18, 1962 and was the youngest of 5. He worked as a union carpenter for several years, up into the early 2000s.

Scott will be deeply missed by his friends and family, and will live on through them and their memories. Scott was a man of deep emotions and cared tremendously about those he cared and loved; he was an avid coin collector and incredibly gifted mathematically. Scott’s favorite show was Shark Tank and he was always on top of what was going in the news. He was in intelligent, witty, and humorous; he always kept you on you toes. There will never be another like him.

Scott was predeceased by his loving parents, Dolores A. (Cramer) Ackermann and Philip W. Ackermann; his sister, Debbie Formato and brother, James (Jimmy) Ackermann. Scott is survived by children, Scott A. Ackermann Jr. and Meagan Lea Ackermann; his brothers Philip Ackermann and Thomas Ackermann, and his wife Lynn; and his granddaughter Adrianna D. Ackermann.
