Rosaria Barbato

Rosaria Barbato, 96 of Plainfield, NJ passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021.

She worked as a Credit Specialist for Sears for many years and after retirement enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her strong commitment to her family as an educator with a kind heart and generous spirit. She was most happy when spending time with her family.  

Rosaria is preceded in death by her husband Gennaro and eldest son Gerard. 

Rosaria is survived by her son and his wife; her daughter, 9 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren

The family of Rosaria wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, nursing home facility and staff and hospice organization for all their care and dedication to their professions and involvement with her care.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, August 17 from 9:00-10:30AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will then be held at 10:30 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
