On March 9th, 2025, Robert was taken to the eternal winner’s circle!
He was a resident at all American Assisted Living in Hillsborough. During his stay he opened up to many new things to do. He was loved by all that knew him.
Robert was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on July 22, 1931 to John and Anna (Chabok) Zednick. He was 93 years old.
Robert was a devout catholic. He served as a 4th degree Knight and he was a life member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert served our country with the United States Army during the Korean War as a corporal, and he was awarded numerous medals. He was a member of the American Legion.
His love and passion was working with horses at the race track
Robert is survived by his beloved cousin, Charlene McDonald of Newark, DE; Charlene’s family; an aunt, Dorothy Chabok and cousins, Tammy and Paula, his dear friends, Mary Lou and Tony; His fellow Knights of Columbus and the countless lives he has touched at Saint John the Evangelist RC Church.
Robert will be missed!

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, N.J. 08812. A Mass will be offered at Saint John the Evangelist RC Church, Dunellen at 10:00AM. The interment will be with military honors in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
