On November 3, 2020, Robert Kautsky passed away at the age of 74. He was a long-time resident of Green Brook.
Bob was born in Plainfield, NJ to Rudolph and Sadie Kautsky on August 30, 1946. He graduated from Dunellen High School and the University of Scranton having majored in accounting. He served as a U.S. Army medic in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.
After returning to civilian life, Bob was employed as General Manager of Cheshire Labs Div. of IPCO in Piscataway for several years. Subsequently he was V.P. of Distribution for Konica-Minolta in Mahwah, NJ and retired in 2007.
Bob was an avid sports fan, starting with Little League in Plainfield, where he pitched a no-hitter. He also played football at Dunellen High School and was a life-long fan of NY Giants, attending Super Bowls in 1987 and 1991.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Sadie, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Slawuta. He is survived by his beloved sister, Joan Kautsky of Monroe Twp. and many wonderful cousins, aunts and an uncle. Bob will be missed and loved by all.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the medical staff at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and at RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick, especially on 4 North. They truly are our front-line heroes.

There will be a visitation on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 2-5 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 10 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church, 317 First St., Dunellen, NJ.
