Richard Edward O'Kunak

Richard Edward O’Kunak, 56, of S Plainfield, NJ, passed away on 3/17/2021. Born 2/11/1965 in S Plainfield, NJ, he is the son to parents Anne Marie and Richard Heaslip.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Al O’Kunak and Grandmother Dottie O’Kunak 

He is survived by his wife Christine O’Kunak and son Alexander O’Kunak, his sister Lynn Scala, Parents, Anne Marie and Richard Heaslip, Niece Jennifer Scala and Nephew Matthew Scala, Nieces Isabella, Julia and Jennilyn, Nephews Jimmy, Jesse, Robbie, Chase, Hunter and Spencer, Cousins Maryann, Steven and Jimmy, 2nd cousin Joanna, Aunts Charlotte and Cookie and Brother-In-Laws Charlie and James Scannapieco, Robert Mantia, Sister-In-Laws Debbie Scannapieco, Dawn Scannapieco, Jennifer Mantia and several wonderful friends that are considered family.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Sheenan’s Funeral Home. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 25th from 11-12pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
