Ralph Serra, 63, of Middlesex NJ, passed away Tuesday night August 10, 2021 at RWJ hospital in Somerville NJ, surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born in Somerville NJ to Dolores and Frank Serra on December 4, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Middlesex, where he attended high school, graduating in 1977. Ralph spent his career working in construction holding a variety of positions - most recently as a long-time employee of Van Cleef Engineering located in Hillsborough, NJ.

He was an avid outdoorsman and this was a true passion of his. Time spent fishing or hunting was time well spent for Ralph.

Ralph is preceded by his mother and father, but is survived by his two children: Ralph and Gabrielle, four siblings: Angela, Frank, John and Peter, his girlfriend Cathy, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his adoring granddaughter Darcy.

Visitation and a memorial will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021 from noon until 3pm at Sheenan Funeral Home in Dunellen NJ.  In lieu of flowers - donations sent in his name to the Middlesex High School Football team would be greatly appreciated http://teamgoaltracker.com/middlesex/
