Paul T. Marconi

Paul T. Marconi, 89, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at home.

Paul was born in Freeland, PA to Pasquale and Rose Marconi on March 21, 1935.  He met the love of his life, Joan Hill, at the Cricklewood Diner and later married her on November 12th, 1955 in Piscataway, New Jersey. Together, they had a beautiful family of five. Paul worked as municipal maintenance personnel for the Department of Public Works for Hunterdon County.  He was a “handyman extraordinaire,” and enjoyed caring for his garden, lawn and trees.  

Paul is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan; brother, Anthony Marconi; sister, Rosalie Bonomo; brother, Louie Marconi; sisters, Francis Kish, Gloria Litchko, Theresa Stasko; brother, Pasquale (Packie) Marconi, baby, and Paul Marconi.

He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Papa, children, Paul, Jr. (Kathy), Joseph (Joy), David, Diane, and Carol; his grandchildren, Tony, Paul III, Jessica, Dylan, Joseph, Jr., Justin, David, Melanie, Kenneth, Cordell, Kayla; and his great-grandchildren, Jackie, Alexis, Madison, AJ, Justin, Alysa, Isabella, Caleb, Gabriel, Aria, Liliana, Colton, Hailey, Riley, and a great-grandbaby on the way.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 30 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
