Patricia H (Sciscione) Polon

Patricia H. Polon died on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation Center, Bridgewater. She was 97. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Patricia was born in Elizabeth and lived in North Plainfield for 61 years. She was a communicant of St. Luke’s RC Church, North Plainfield and was a member of the
Rosarians and Leisure Club. Patricia loved spending time with her family and especially loved cooking for everyone. She also enjoyed travelling with her husband and vacationing with her
family. She loved sharing good times and laughter with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, William; her parents, Aurelio and Theresa Sciscione; sisters, Minnie Cannonie and Marie Guida; her brothers, Biagio, Joseph and Philip.
She is survived by a son, William of Bridgewater, a daughter, Barbara Maffucci and her husband Ralph of Piscataway, a grandson, Matthew and his wife Kristina, a granddaughter Michelle and her fiancé Brian and a great-grandson, Adam. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Petti of Port Reading, Jeanne Riccardi of Manahawkin and Theresa Ann Schmieder of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
A mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s RC Church, North Plainfield. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, NJ. Internment will be a private service at William C. Doyle Military Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
