Nina Bereza Obituary

Nina J. Bereza, 89, of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Bridgewater.

Nina was born in Newark, NJ to Christopher and Fleda Leonard on June 8 1931. She was one of 7 children. Nina and her husband Eugene lived in South Plainfield for 7 years before moving to North Plainfield. After Eugene’s passing she moved to The Chelsea Bridgewater. She was a long time volunteer for Green Brook Manor Nursing Home.

Nina is preceded in death by her husband Eugene and her daughter Jill Elizabeth Riley, sisters Ruth, Viola, Betty, Jean, and a brother Christopher.

Nina is survived by her son John and his wife Pam of Dunellen, son-in-law Chris Riley and his wife Anne of Scotch Plains, grandchildren Graham Bereza and Steven Riley, and sister Barbara.

Memorials may be given to F.I.S.H or local food banks.

Visitation will be private and interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
