Michael F. Stinner

Michael Francis Stinner, 49, of Dunellen, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Michael was born on January 30, 1972 to Dennis and Vicki Lombardi Stinner. He was predeceased by his loving Mom.

Michael is survived by the lights of his life, his children Naomi Li and Michael, his father Dennis and his partner, Sue, his friend Lisa, many uncles, aunts, cousins and great cousins. Needless to say, it would take an entire section of a newspaper to list the friends he loved and was loved by.

Michael was a small town boy with a big heart. He resided in Dunellen his entire life and loved this town and the people in it. He truly cherished his friendships. He wore his heart on his sleeve for his family and friends.

In high school Michael was President of the school choir and was a Madrigal singer with a beautiful voice. He was a craftsman and worked for Miles Upholstery for 30 years creating beautiful furniture. He loved his work and his friend/mentor Miles and was always so proud of his craftsmanship. Michael was known all around Dunellen and was loved by so many friends for his quick laugh, sense of humor and willingness to help anyone at any time. He loved cooking, creating and writing his own recipes, and competing in the Dunellen Hotel Chili Cook Off with his dad, Dennis (who he often called Denny). He loved music and would listen to Cat Stevens, Christopher Cross, Van Halen but his favorite was Jimmy Buffet. We can be assured he is singing in Heaven, "Cheeseburger in Paradise."

We know he will be with us every day in our hearts and his spirit will live with us and will inspire us to be the best we can be! Watch over us Michael. We will love you forever!

Friends and family may gather on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey for a Memorial Visitation for Michael.
