Mike Kelly passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2026
A life-long resident of Middlesex Boro, he was the son of Lorraine (Lyman) Kelly and Richard G. Kelly of Klingerstown, PA. He is predeceased by his father in 2017, and is survived by his mother Lorraine, a brother Jamie and wife Alice of Texas, nephews Josh Kelly and Sean Kelly, and sister Donna Kelly Burton and husband Barry of Pennsylvania. Mike also leaves behind his partner of 14 years, Tracy Armenti. The Kelly's built a family filled with happy childhood memories which included children by birth and adoption, so Mike is also survived by an extended family of 18 siblings.
Employed as a Certified Driver for more than 40 years, Mike’s career started with learning the ropes in the disposal business. He would later go on to the run the road as an owner/operator of his own rig. He held many positions over the years, and his vast experience included fuel delivery, towing and recovery, carting, plowing, and lastly, tri-axle truck operation as part of a road paving crew. Prior to his driving career he was a house framer and worked in home improvements and roofing.
In his spare time Mike enjoyed all things fast. Motorcycles, cars, trucks, and boats. He enjoyed watching NHRA racing and had a uncanny knowledge of Military aircraft, tanks, and artillery.
He was also an outdoorsman. He was a trapper, hunter, angler and target shooter. He appreciated the many fishing trips with friends and family over the years. He held fond memories of sport fishing with his brother and family camping trips at Spruce Run and the Florida Keys.
He enjoyed traveling to the islands, trips to AC, cocktails with friends, and a good cigar.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
