Michael Fenchock, Jr, 87, a life long resident of Dunellen, passed away on Friday, December 24 at RWJ Hospital in Somerset. Born in Plainfield, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia Fenchock, Sr.
Michael served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a longtime employee of Art Color in Dunellen, and later worked as a licensed black seal boiler mechanic doing maintenance in many different school districts. He loved fishing and hunting and especially picking dandelions for his batches of wine.
Besides his parents, Michael is predeceased by his brother Charles Fenchock, and his son Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joanne, his 2 sons James and Stephen and his daughter Mary Ann Fenchock. Michael is also survived by his cherished granddaughter Joanna Mantilla and his sister Joan Reigle.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 31 from 10:00-11:00AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home.
Cremation will be held privately.
