On September 1, 2020 Mary E. Wick, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 83.
Mary was born on February 18, 1937 to William and Dorothy Reddy. She was born in Plainfield and lived in Warren for many years before moving to Piscataway. She worked for the Manville Board of Education as a school crossing guard until her retirement. Prior to working as a crossing guard, she worked as meat wrapper for Stop N Shop. She loved her family deeply, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward Wick and her sister Gertrude Rojas. She is survived by her sister, Doris McGivney and her daughters; Deborah Campanelli of Piscataway, Karen Dyrness of Tega Cay, South Carolina and Theresa Hoerster of Thomaston, Georgia. Grandchildren; Jennifer Campanelli of Piscataway, Lisa Sammartino of South Amboy, Amy Campanelli of Rock Hill,South Carolina, Thomas Campanelli of Piscataway, Patrick Dyrness of Middlesex, Kyle Dyrness of New Brunswick, and Thomas Dyrness of Tega Cay, South Carolina. Great-Grandchildren, Cooper and Owen Dyrness of Tega Cay, South Carolina and Violet Rose Sammartino of South Amboy.
Cremation will be handled privately by the family. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date. All services are being handled by the Sheenan Funeral Home, Dunellen.
