Marion K (Wetzel) Astalos

Marion Katherine Astalos, 95, of Piscataway,passed away on June 24 2022 in Edison New Jersey.
 
Marion was born in Elizabeth New Jersey to Calvin and Edna Wetzel  on May 20, 1927.  She  married George Joseph Astalos Sr on January 29 ,1949 at St James Methodist Church, Elizabeth New Jersey. She worked  for Maury Larue, art colors, Thielex plastics and ITW . She was involved in with the American Legion women’s auxiliary, The Red Hatters , Where she was queen mother for a few years.
 

Marion is preceded in death by her husband George Sr , sons Calvin , George and Thomas , her daughter Linda Reed and son in-law Dave Reed ,parents Calvin and Edna , her three sisters Dorothy, Lillian and Vivian.

 Marion is survived by daughters Barbara Fasano ( Louis )of Brick NJ,Kathleen Gard ( John) of Newark Ohio,  Karen Carmody ( William) of Branchburg NJ and son Gary Astalos of Piscataway, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
 
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Edison New Jersey.
