Marie (Squicciarini) Casserly

Marie Casserly (Squicciarini), 93, of Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away on January 5, 2026 after a brief illness.

Born in 1932, the daughter of Nicholas and Florence Squicciarini, Marie was a life-long resident of Plainfield.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene, her sisters Rose and Angela, her brothers John and Nicholas, her brother in law Edward Suarez, her sister-in-law Mary Monahan and her husband, Thomas, and her brother in law, Thomas Casserly and his wife Rose Marie Casserly.

She is survived by her sisters Florence Willard and Clare Suarez, her sister-in-law Sr. Ann Casserly, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on January 12, 2026 at 11:00 o’clock at St Bernard and St. Stanislaus Church in Plainfield, NJ followed by burial at Hillside cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ
