It is with great sadness that the family of Manjit Singh Mundi announces his passing on Monday, May 10, 2021. Manjit, age 33, lovingly known by friends as “Mung,” was born on July 21, 1987 at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ.
He attended Piscataway High School, class of 2005, and Berkeley College, where Manjit received a bachelor’s in accounting in 2010. In 2005, Manjit began his career with UPS as a package handler where he was soon promoted to a supervisor position. Manjit was a hard worker and in 2020 was honorably recognized by UPS for his achievements.
Manjit was a charismatic individual with a zest for life. He kept those around him laughing. Manjit was a lover of all sports, especially the New York Giants, enjoyed playing golf with friends, listening to music, and had a passion for computers and cars alike.
He is survived by his parents, Gurcharan and Anna Mundi, and siblings Mark and Vanessa of Piscataway.
A celebration of Manjit’s life will be held from 4 to 7 pm, on Friday, May 14, at Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. Funeral services will be held the following day at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 501 New Market Rd., Piscataway.
