Lola Elizabeth (Petty) Pozgay

Lola Pozgay, 70, of Somerset, passed away on July 2, 2022 in Somerset.

Lola was born in Plainfield to Arthur Petty and Florence Petty on February 11, 1952.  She graduated from Piscataway High School. She had a love for attending concerts, reading, taking photos, baking and spending time with the many family pets. She had a very giving and generous heart and would help anyone in need. She frequently donated to Lupus, Native American reservations, as well as many other causes.

Lola is preceded in death by her father Arthur Petty, mother Florence Petty, and brother Roy Petty.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald, her children; Lisa and Michael, her brothers; William Petty and wife Jennifer of North Carolina, George Petty and wife Laura of Piscataway, her sisters; Florence Lee Stolfo and husband Vito of North Carolina, Linda Macintyre of Middlesex, Maryann Cirillo of North Plainfield, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, from 5:00-7:00pm with a brief funeral service to be held at 6:45pm.
