On December 23, 2022, Kenneth Raymond Lant Jr., beloved partner, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 75.
Kenny was born on February 14, 1947 to Mr. Kenneth Raymond Lant Sr. & Helen Patricia (DuLong) Lant. He is predeceased by his sister and best friend, Helen Patricia (Lant) Zensky. Born in Plainfield & raised in Greenbrook, he raised his three sons in Middlesex, before retiring to Monroe Township.
A proud Navy veteran who served from 1967 to 1970, including overseas deployment during the Vietnam War. He worked for NJ Bell/Verizon where he managed facilities & maintenance operations until the late 1990’s. He retired following 10 years as an electrician/project manager for Zensky Electric.
Kenny was passionate about classic Chevy cars, model trains, reading and watching science fiction and military history. Like his father, he enjoyed tinkering in the yard, working on engines, and home improvement projects of all sizes.
Kenny is predeceased by his parents and sister. He is survived by his partner Janice Labos, her daughter Jessica Denhard and her husband C.J. Known as Grumps to his grandchildren, he is also survived by his three sons: Sean Lant, wife Jennifer, and children Bayleigh, Tori and Kira; Courtney Lant, wife Allison, and children Charlie and Patch; and Wesley Lant, wife Cindy, and children Twyla, James and Gisele.
