KENNETH JAMES MORGE
FEBRUARY 14, 1955 – JANUARY 3, 2023
Kenneth James Morge, more fondly known as Kenny Morge, of Middlesex, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 while residing in Green Valley, Arizona.
Kenny Morge was born to Lawrence and Mary Morge on February 14, 1955 in Plainfield, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Middlesex High School, where his esteemed wrestling career thrived and many lifelong friendships were made. Upon graduating, Kenny wore many different hats. He was a garbage collector, machinist for various newspaper outlets and an aspiring inventor. As an inventor, Kenny had many different ideas but his most prized invention was “The Sports Wrap” or more commonly known as “The Glove Wrap” for those who have been on this journey with him from the beginning. He was determined and ambitious, which was admirable.
Kenny is survived by his daughters, whom he loved more than anything in this world, Elena Elwardany and Krista Nicholls-Paul and their spouses, Maz Elwardany and Steven Nicholls-Paul, along with his grandchildren, Joseph and Emily Elwardany and his former wife, Dale Iannetti. His siblings, Richard Morge, Larry Morge and Patricia Romano, as well as many nieces, nephews and in-laws additionally survive him. Sorrowfully, his brother David Morge and parents, Larry and Mary Morge, preceded Kenny in death.
Kenny was a long time member of the Middlesex American Legion Post 306. He was an avid fisher and hunter, enjoyed golfing, spending time at the beach bungalow and being around his family, especially his grandchildren. A true kid at heart, he would always ensure that in his presence there was a smile on your face, whether it was his cooler filled with endless candy on the softball side lines, wet willies, classic jokes or his infamous seatbelt checks, he was truly one of a kind. The memories that involve him will be cherished for eternity. He was the most incredible father, grandfather, brother and friend. To have had Kenny in your life is such a blessing.
A Memorial Service in honor of Kenny will be held at Sheenan Funeral Home, located at 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Followed by a celebration of his life right after at the American Legion (Post 306) in Middlesex, New Jersey; details to be shared at the service. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you please donate to a foundation that is close to your heart; it is what Kenny would have wanted.
