Karin M. (Torgrimsen) Kruger

Karin M. Kruger, of Green Brook, New Jersey, passed away on June 9th, 2022 at the age of 75, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home in Dunellen, NJ. Burial will follow at the Bound Brook Cemetery, in Bound Brook, N.J.

Karin was born in Plainfield, N.J. to Jan and Veronica Torgrimsen on August 1st 1946. She graduated from North Plainfield High School in 1964. She married Ekke Kruger on August 26th 1967, in Dunellen, N.J. After graduation, Karin worked as Executive Assistant at Wigton-Abbott Corporation, in Plainfield, N.J. Later, she worked as Executive Secretary to the Vice President at Mack Motors in Somerville, N.J.

Over the years, Karin was an avid reader and visited North Plainfield Library regularly. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Ekke and over the years had visited 74 countries. She loved people very much and in later years became a dedicated care taker for her Father and Mother and Mother-in-law.

Karin is proceeded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Elizebeth Weigel. She is survived by her husband, Ekke, her son Paul Kruger, brothers Jan and Robert Torgrimsen, and several nieces and nephews.

Instead of flowers, donations can be sent to Saint Jude Hospital and the Plainfield Humane Society.
