Karen M. Tuttle, 74 of Piscataway, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late Herman D. and Ruth Ann (O’Brien) Hoffman.
Karen worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Berkeley Heights Convalescent Center in Berkeley Heights. In later years, she was a Crossing Guard for Piscataway Township. Her Catholic faith was very important to her. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway. She loved crossword puzzles, and going to the Boy Scouts convention. Most of all, Karen loved spending time with her family and friends.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Albert Tuttle, Jr, her daughter Heidi Martes and her six children, Carlos, Deanna, Shanta’, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Elijah; her Cheryl Tuttle, and her sons Liam and Nolan; son Brian Tuttle and his children, Alicia, Nicholas, Samantha, and Zachary, as well as by her 5 cherished great-grandchildren, and by her extended family and many dear friends.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 25 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 26 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway. Cremation will be held privately.
