Julia Szkotnicki Obituary

Julia H. Szkotnicki (Drechsler), 101, of Green Brook, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday; March 28th, with her loving family by her side. Born to the late John and Marie (Ozarko) Drechsler, Julia has resided in Green Brook for the last 60 years.

Julia wore many different hats in life. She worked as a Senior Companion for many years and took great pride in helping others. She was an amazing gardener, always having the most beautiful flowers on the block. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Julia is predeceased by her loving husband Matthew (1998), she is survived by her 3 children; son, Carroll Szkotnicki and his wife Marie of Clinton, daughter, Helen Markell and her husband Robert of Massachusetts and son, Michael Szkotnicki and his wife Barbara of Michigan, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation on Friday; April 6th from 8:30 – 10AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Entombment will take place at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
