Judith M. (Barker) Metallo, age 64, of Middlesex, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Somerville after a long battle with ALS. She was the beloved wife of Robert Metallo with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother of 3 and grandmother of 7.
Judi was born on October 1, 1961 in Bayonne, NJ and moved with her family to Piscataway, NJ as a young child. Judi was a graduate of Piscataway High School in 1979, where she was part of the marching band's Drill Squad.
After earning her Associates Degree from Middlesex County College, Judi married Robert in May of 1983 and they settled in Dunellen and Middlesex Boro for the next 43 years.
Judi made a career as the Office Manager for Roan & King Plumbing & Heating in Green Brook and Judi loved watching her children play youth sports, going to NY Mets and Jets, beach vacations, walks in the snow, and entertaining her family at the Holidays.
Judi is survived by her husband Robert, her son Jeffrey and his wife Francesca, and their children Carmella, Gianna, Delilah, and Jeffrey Jr., her daughter Melissa Assante, her husband Joseph, and their children Joey, Gio, and Enzo, and her youngest son Brian.
Judi will be forever loved and live in our hearts and minds always.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, March 13th from 4PM to 8PM at Sheenan Funeral Home, and to her funeral mass on Saturday, March 14th at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Piscataway, at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
