Joseph Francis Harris

Joseph Francis Harris, age 79, beloved husband of the late Susan G. (Johnson) Harris of Dunellen, passed away on March 21, 2025 in New Brunswick.

Joe was born on August 30, 1945 in South Amboy.

He was a graduate of Sayreville High School, class of 1963.

He was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the Navy during the Vietnam war.

Joe was employed as an Extrudor for the DuPont corporation for 51 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, and different types of memorabilia, gardening, spending time with family and friends, making his monthly trip to his favorite casino, cooking, hanging out on his screened in porch watching storms, and walking throughout Dunellen. He also enjoyed watching different sports on TV.

He is survived by his son; Todd Harris and his favorite daughter-in-law, Nancy More, and his grandchildren; Nicholas Harris, and Jadon Krishanda.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Sheenan Funeral Home, Dunellen from 5 – 7 PM. Burial will be private.
