John R Gibbon

John R. Gibbon, 56, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home in Middlesex, with his loving family by his side. Born in Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of Robert and Alice (Janos) Gibbon.

He was a big footfall and hockey fan, he loved the Steelers and NJ Devils. He was a proud collector of Native American items. Christmas was his favorite holiday and decorating for Christmas along with all holidays brought him great joy and to all those around him. He was a very kind person with a big heart, who is finally at peace and will be missed by all.

John will be remembered by his mother Alice Gibbon, Siblings Sue and Joe, 4 Nieces and Nephews, extended family, and dear friends. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen.
