John Michael Hugg Jr. passed away on May 7, 2020 in Louisville, KY. He was a brother, son, cousin, and an especially proud father. He will be missed by his friends, family, and those who knew him professionally.
Born February 1, 1962, Michael was the son of his late parents, John Hugg (wife Marianne) and Margaret Lukas (husband James Dever). He attended Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio, and later attended The Ohio State University. Throughout his life, Michael had a passion for rock music and was the drummer in a band called the "White Lightening" as a young man.
Michael is survived by his daughters Lindsay Foreman (Stephen) and Allison Edwards (Jeff), aunt and uncle Marie and Richard Young, and aunt Frances Jean Ventrone. He also leaves behind many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Marie Lukas, uncle Joseph Lukas, young sister Kathleen Hugg, brother Kevin Hugg, and sister Cynthia Hugg. In lieu of funeral services or flowers, and to honor Michael's mother, his family asks that if desired, you make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Michael's cremains will rest in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield, New Jersey along with other beloved members of his family.
