John F Ciecwisz, 77, of Cape Canaveral, Florida

Those we love never leave us, they stay in our hearts forever!

John was born in Newark, NJ on 9/22/44. He went to be with our lord on 5/4/22, with his loving family beside him.

John was pre deceased by his parents, John & Rose Ciecwisz, his brother, Edward J Ciecwisz , his nephew Edward J Ciecwisz Jr. and his step son, Michael J Walker.

John is survived by his daughter, Kelly(Gary) Seliga, his son, Richard Amann, his neice and Goddaughter, Gloria(Walter)George, his nephews, Gregory(Justyne) Ciecwisz and Raymond(Debra) Ciecwisz as well as his beloved sister-in-law, Sophie Ciecwisz.

John also had 4 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Jessica(Justin) Anderson, Kristy(Brian) Botsford, Taylor Amann and Jackson Amann, as well as 6 great grandchildren and many very special grandnieces and nephews

John was a lineman for New York State Electric & Gas out of Binghamton, NY for over 30 years, but his love was always the sea. Fishing and boating were his favorite hobbies and doing these with his family and friends gave him the most joy! I believed at times that he had salt water running through his veins.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, May16th at St Joseph’s Church in North Plainfield, NJ. Interment to follow at Holy Cross cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. The family will receive friends at Sheenan Funeral Home, Dunellen, NJ on Sunday the 15th from 2-4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cape Canaveral Hospital for all the love and care he showed John and his family.
