Jeffrey E. Krov, Sr.

Jeffrey E. Krov, Sr. (68), of Middlesex, New Jersey. Died Monday, January 2, 2024 at home, surrounded by his family.

Jeffrey was born in Rahway and raised in Clark most of his life before moving to Middlesex 30 years ago. He worked for the Department of Public Works in Garwood. He retired from Nitta Casings, Somerville where he was a mechanic. He was a Volunteer Police Officer with the Springfield Police Department. He loved to cook, was a chef in his own right and was known as a grill master. He could fix anything and tinkered with classic cars. Jeffrey had a large personality, big heart, generous spirit and a wicked sense of humor. He loved playing Santa Claus and was given a plaque commemorating his role as Santa Claus. He brought lots of joy to the children.

Jeffrey is predeceased by his parents, Frank J. and Anne (Pratt) Krov and his brother Richard Krov. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Santella) Krov of Middlesex; his three children - Melisa Soden and her husband Jason of Forks, PA; Megan Krov of Roseto, PA and Jeffrey E. Krov, Jr. of Middlesex. Two grandchildren – Aiden and Hailey Soden.  His brother Frank Krov of Manasquan; three sisters – Patricia Savage of Naples, FL; Karen Fink of Clark; Valerie Buonaguro of Cranford and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey.
