Jason Zeszotarski Obituary

Jason S. Zeszotarski, 53, of Lawrence, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2026. His unexpected departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jason grew up part of a big family in Green Brook, New Jersey where he shared many memories with his parents and siblings. He is a graduate of Rutgers University where he made many lasting friendships. He was Director of Clinical Audit Strategy, R&D Quality at Johnson & Johnson where he served as a dedicated and steadfast employee for over 21 years. Ever the intellect, Jason had such extensive knowledge of a vast array of subjects from the significant to the trivial. Though he was an encyclopedia of information, he knew how to use his quick wit to lighten the mood and make everyone laugh. He never took himself too seriously. Jason was incredibly thoughtful and generous, always bearing gifts and checking in to see if there was any need unmet. Constantly prioritizing others, he gave freely of his time, energy, and love—never asking for anything in return. There was no request too big, no hour too late. Family was everything to Jason. He would move mountains for his wife, parents, nieces, and nephews, finding his greatest joy in their happiness. Jason took immense pleasure in sharing his culinary talents, planning and preparing plentiful homemade meals for the people he cherished.
In addition to spending time with his family, Jason was passionate about baseball, music, and movies. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially to coastal New England and wineries all over to add to his expansive wine collection.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence (Meehan); his parents, Joseph and Cathleen (Whelpley) Zeszotarski; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Meehan, his brothers, Joseph Zeszotarski (Dana), Jonathan Zezsotarski (Rebecca), Jeffrey Zezsotarski (Dawn) and his sister, Clare Zeszotarski Greene (Brian). He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Sarah, Owen, Alice, Amanda, Alex, Sydney, Hailey, Annie, Amelia, Jake, Tommy, Eva, Vivienne, and Austin. Jason’s sudden passing reminds us how fragile and precious life can be. Though our hearts
ache with grief, we take comfort in the countless ways he showed us what it means to love deeply, give generously, and live fully in service to others.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen.
