Jane (Tamke) Caputo

On January 2, 2023 Jane Caputo (nee Tamke), passed away after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Joe Caputo, her 11 siblings, many dear nieces and nephews and adored godchildren. She is predeceased by her parents William and Doris Tamke (nee Pray).

Jane graduated from Point Pleasant Beach H.S., was a Court Clerk in Point Pleasant Beach for a short time before working for over 3 decades for the Maersk shipping company, in their executive sales department. She was a lover of nature, her beloved dogs and cats, and especially butterflies, and cardinals. Jane had a wonderfully big heart, loved to laugh and was most happy when surrounded by family and friends. 

There will not be a public service. There will be a celebration of life at a date tbd. We ask that donations in her name be made to American Brittany Rescue.
