On April 7th, Jane “Mimi” Bell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 70.
Jane was born on July 26th, 1951 to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ostrowski. The second of three daughters, Jane was born in Plainfield, NJ and last resided in Ocean Beach, NJ. She worked for Chanel until her retirement in 2002.
Jane’s hobbies were spending time with her grandkids, mingling with friends, and living the “beach life”. She was deeply devoted to her three children and seven grandkids. Anyone who knew Jane, would say she loved her family and friends above all else, and would do anything to assist a friend in a time of need.
Jane is predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Ruth Ostrowski, as well as her beloved husband William Bell.
Jane is survived by her son Drew Calvo and wife Lindsey, son Kevin Calvo and wife Meghan, daughter Loren Foster and husband Jonathan. Also cherished, her 7 grandchildren, Robert and Faith Calvo, Dylan Calvo, Aidan, Cooper, Katherine, and Bennett Foster.
Also survived by sisters Nancy Ostrowski and Carol Fishwick, and nephew Michael and wife Amy, niece Megan Fishwick, great niece Morgan, great nephew Ryan, her mother-in-law Helen Bell, her father-in-law Willard Bell and wife Pat, brother-in-law James Bell and wife Patti, sister-in-law Annemarie Dupras and husband Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 13th from 5 pm to 8pm, at the Sheenan’s Funeral Home, 223 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. On April 14th, Funeral services will be held at 10am and burial will be followed at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway, NJ where she and her beloved husband will be laid to rest.
