It is with great sadness that we share the passing of James Leone Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, integrity, and strength.
James was known for his unwavering dedication to both his family and his work. A man of deep honor and quiet resilience, he led by example and lived a life guided by purpose, generosity, and steadfast values. He touched the lives of many through his compassion, loyalty, and humble spirit.
James is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Leone, and his sons, Justin Leone. He was a proud grandfather to Anastasia, James, and Rhysand Leone, who were the light of his life. James is also survived by his siblings, Maryanne Reif, Leo “Buddy” Leone, and Rob Leone, who remained close to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard “Rich” Leone, whom he missed and loved dearly. And his son James “Jimmy” Leone Jr, whom he loved and cared for very much. A hole will always be in everyone’s hearts for the loss of both rich and jimmy.
James will be remembered for his quiet strength, his deep commitment to those he loved, and his ability to give of himself without hesitation. His presence brought comfort, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM and to his funeral service at 4:00 PM at Sheenan Funeral Home.
