Helen K. Greczek, 94, of Middlesex, NJ formerly of North Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Middlesex.
Helen was born in New Brunswick to Catherine and William Krull on June 11, 1927. She graduated from St. Peters High School in New Brunswick. She was married to Alvin Greczek on July 9, 1949. Helen worked as a telephone operator from the time of Ma Bell through AT&T in North Brunswick. She volunteered with the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Brunswick and volunteered in the CCD and CYO programs and was very active in the Catholic Daughters and had served as President. Helen was a member of the North Brunswick Seniors and was given a Community Service Award by AARP recognizing her for the 100’s of hand crafted throw pillows she made and donated to nursing homes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, crafting, and baking.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 2007. She is also preceded by her parents, her sisters, Violet and Rita and her brothers, Billy, Will, John, Edward, and Joseph, her niece, Elinor Certo.
Helen is survived by her sons Ronald and his wife, Mary Ann, Robert and his wife, Deborah. Her grandsons Jeffrey, Alex, Bryan and Brandyn Greczek and granddaughter Jenna Choquet and her husband Christopher and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are through Sheenan’s Funeral Home in Dunellen. The viewing is Saturday, January 8th from 9:00 to 10:00 am followed by a 10:30 mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex. Burial is immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
