Helen Dougert passed away peacefully at Embassy Manor in Edison on Monday, September 27. She was 100 years old. Born in Piscataway, she was the last of nine children of the late Stanley and Marianne Wisniewski.
Helen worked for many years at RCA and then later co-owned and managed a TV repair and retail shop, Speedy TV in Piscataway. She was also a proud volunteer and member of the Arbor Rescue Squad for 28 years. She lived a long and happy life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter Adele Morales and her husband Emmanuel as well as her grandchildren Mary and Robert, and her cherished great-grandchildren Sean, Alison, Jake, Will, and Ava.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 4 from 9:30-10:45AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM at St. John The Evangelist Church with burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
