George T. Kilroy, 83, of Whitehouse Station, died in Pittstown February 13, 2026. He was born in Potsdam, New York, where he graduated high school before serving in the United States Navy as a boilerman aboard a destroyer escort. He and his wife, Barbara (Dzvileski), who predeceased him in 2016, lived in Piscataway for 52 years. George worked as a United States letter carrier for 40 years with routes in Plainfield and then in Warren, New Jersey.
George is predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Dzvileski), his parents, John and Viola Kilroy, his brother, Richard Kilroy, and sisters, Catherine and Joan Kilroy.
Surviving are his son Brian Kilroy and his wife, Jamie, of Williamstown, his daughter Dawn Gauvin, her husband, Jeremy, and their children, Samuel and Alaina, of Whitehouse Station, and his sister Jane Eisenberg of Kingston, New York.
Visitation on Tuesday, February 24th from 5 to 8 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 25th at Our Lady of Fatima, Piscataway, where he was a communicant. Entombment Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
