Genevieve (Aftanski) Chippendale

On December 22, 2021, Genevieve (Aftanski) Chippendale, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and
Great Grandmother, passed away at the age of 88.

Genevieve was born on October 11, 1933 to Louis and Helen Aftanski. She was the youngest
of 5 children. Genevieve was born in Neshanic and moved to Piscataway in 1965. She worked
for Somerset Medical Center until she retired in 1997.

Genevieve enjoyed spending time with her family, mostly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Genevieve is predeceased by her parents and beloved husband, Arthur Chippendale in 1988
and siblings, Stanley Aftanski, Mary Gos, Frances Maliborski and Helen Schenck.

She is survived by her loving children, Arthur Chippendale (Debbie) of Piscataway, Jeanne
Heidel (Greg) of White Township, Brian Chippendale (Frances) of North Port, Florida, David
Chippendale (Lisa) of Middlesex, Robin Bellamy (Joe) of Montgomery, 11 grandchildren,
Vanessa Lopez (Anthony), Louis Chippendale (Connie), Brian Chippendale (Amy), Alyssa
Chippendale, Gregory Heidel, Colby Chippendale, Joey Bellamy, Tyrus Chippendale, Zachary
Chippendale, Rocco Bellamy and Michael Bellamy, and 9 great grandchildren, Carleigh
Chippendale, Kai Lopez, Luke Chippendale, Jax Lopez, Lorelei Chippendale, Cruz Lopez,
Charlotte Chippendale, Lawson Chippendale and Clayton Chippendale.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a charitable donation be made in Genevieve’s name to
the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
