Gail (Barile) LaBonce

Gail LaBonce, 79, formerly of Dunellen, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 23, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Gail was born in New York to George and Dorothy Barile on October 29, 1942.  She was a graduate of Dunellen High School, Class of 1960.  Gail married her high school sweetheart, Edward LaBonce on December 16, 1961.

Gail and Edward lived and raised their family in Dunellen NJ, before retiring to Tarpon Springs, FL, and most recently residing in Middlesex, NJ.

Gail is preceded in death by Her Parents George and Dorothy Barile, and her sister Margaret Apadula. 

Gail is survived by her loving husband, Edward, Daughter Cynthia Dent and her Husband Darrell, Son George LaBonce, Her Grandchildren Allison and Christopher Dent, Sisters Georgene DeMato and Marygene Reilly, and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org)

Friends and family may visit the Sheenan Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 29th at St. John the Evangelist Church at 11 a.m.

Cremation will be private.
