Elizabeth Anne (Inghram) Mulligan

Elizabeth Anne “Liz” Mulligan, (nee Inghram), passed away December 20, 2020 at RWJUH in New Brunswick.  She was born in Idaho on May 29, 1957 and grew up in Cranford, NJ.

After high school, Liz worked at General Motors in Linden. She then went on to work for a travel agency, as she loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean. She enjoyed the beach and all water sports, especially her dad’s boat in the Florida Keys. She would later work for many years as a letter carrier for the USPS in Scotch Plains. Liz also served as union president, a position she excelled at and greatly enjoyed. Her favorite day was St. Patrick’s Day and anything and everything Irish.

Liz is predeceased by her grandparents, her mother Catherine Severs, stepfather Walter Severs, her father John T. Inghram, her sister Lois Polak, brother Donald Severs and nephew John “JT” Vicci. Liz leaves behind her son Brian Breslin, sisters Lori Curtis, Linda Steinman, Linda Vicci, Lisa Golej and husband Dan, brothers John A. Inghram, David Severs and wife Heather. She is also survived by her stepdaughters Margaret Jaqua and husband Tim and Mary Breslin and husband Brett, as well as her  grandchildren Sean and Connelly and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 22, from 6:00-8:00pm. Elizabeth will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 23 at Hollywood memorial Park in Union. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to your favorite animal shelter.
