Elaine Marie (Meconi) Randolph

Elaine Marie (Meconi) Randolph, 87, of Piscataway, passed away on March 31st, 2026, in Edison.

Elaine was born in The Bronx, NY, to Arthur and Hilda Meconi on December 20th, 1938. She attended North Plainfield High School for three years and graduated from New Dorp High School in Staten Island in 1955, and aspired to be a professional secretary. In high school, she met the love of her life, Raphael Gerard Randolph, and on November 7, 1959, they married at St. Anne’s in Staten Island.  Together, they built a beautiful family, and Elaine was a proud mother to three boys, Arthur, David, and her late son Andrew.

Elaine Specialized in stenography, dictation, and research and honed in on those skills for the rest of her life. She worked extremely hard alongside her children to provide a stable home and raise them to achieve whatever they aspired to.

In 1998, she graduated from Middlesex County College, and in 2005, she graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and worked in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute until her passing.

She was well-traveled and spent time in over a dozen countries across Europe and traveled much of the United States. Her favorite place was Key West, FL.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elaine lived a full and remarkable life defined by curiosity, determination, and a deep love for her children.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Hilda, her husband Jerry, and her son Andrew. 

Elaine is survived by her sons, Arthur,  David, and his wife Patricia, grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Jeremy and his wife Jillian, Veronica, Jacob, and Zachary, and great-granddaughters Cecilia Marie and Elise Theres.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Sheenan Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM. Private interment will be held at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
