Edwarda T. (Quinn) Harmon

Edwarda Therese Harmon went home to the Lord on August 7, 2023. Edwarda passed away at her home in Dunellen, NJ at the age of 81.

Edwarda was predeceased by her husband Peter Harmon, her parents, John and Annette Quinn, her brother, Jack Quinn and her sister Rose Keyser. Edwarda is survived by her sons, John (Amanda) and Joseph (Laura), her grandchildren Owen, Nathanael, Rose, Benedict, and Nolan, as well as by loved nieces and their children and grandchildren.

Edwarda was born and raised in Jersey City. Edwarda graduated from St. Aloysius Academy in Jersey City and St. John’s University, and worked as a pharmacist for many years in a number of hospitals including Jersey City Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel.

Edwarda was a devout woman of faith who loved the Lord. Edwarda was an active parishioner at St. Antoninus parish in Newark, NJ and later at Our Lady of the Mount parish in Warren, NJ, and was a long-time member of the People of Hope Community, a Catholic lay association.

A wake will be held at Sheenan Funeral Home in Dunellen, NJ on August 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima parish in Piscataway, NJ on August 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, NJ.
