Edward Joseph Dunsavage, Sr.

Edward Joseph Dunsavage, Sr., died on July 28, 2024, at his home.  He was 90 years old.

 Born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. He has lived in Edison for 62 years. He was a loan manager at Beneficial Finance in New Brunswick. He served his country in the United States Navy on the aircraft carriers USS Bonhomme Richard and the USS Oriskany.

Edward is predeceased by his wife Maryann Dunsavage in 2002, a son Joseph John Dunsavage, his parents Joseph Anthony Dunsavage and Ann (Ambrose) Bertoldo and his sister, Eleanor Williams. He is survived by his 2 – sons, Edward Joseph Dunsavage, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Ashland, OR; Jeffrey Dunsavage and his wife Linda of Edison; a sister Joan Ens of Spotswood; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, New Jersey 08812. The funeral is Friday, 9:30AM at Sheenan Funeral Home followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30AM at Saint John the Evangelist RC Church, Dunellen. Interment will be in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Washington, N.J.
