Dorothy Feola, 93, of Bridgewater, previously resided in Piscataway, Plainfield, and Seaside Park NJ, passed away on October 25, 2023, in Bridgewater.
Dorothy was born in Garwood to John and Mary Feola on February 6, 1930. She went to school at St. John’s elementary school, Holy Trinity High School, and Middlesex County College. She worked as a Human Resources Manager for American Standard for 28 years. Dorothy also worked for Thatcher Furnace, Bamberger’s / Macy’s Plainfield, Bussel & Nagen, CPA’s, DeMuro Associates, Dunellen Hotel, and attorney Thomas E. Hood, Esq. She was involved in CIRO – Community Industrial Relations Organization, Task Force on Aging, Instructor at Bound Brook Adult Evening School, and C.C.D instructor St. John’s School.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Feola, brother Vincent Feola, and her sister Marygrace Di Cairano, brother in-laws Daniel Buccino, Mike Di Cairano, Julius Modola, and Jack Kelly.
Dorothy is survived by her sisters Joanna Kelly and Carmela Buccino, sister in-law Virginia Feola, 11 nieces and nephews and sixteen grandnieces and nephews.
Dorothy’s family was her priority, she was committed to show and express to each of us her unwavering love and support along her journey in life. Her favorite saying “Make it work for you” will never be forgotten. It was her way of saying, you have this life, do what you can to make it the best life.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 31 from 9:00-10:15am at the Sheenan Funeral Home in Dunellen. A funeral mass will celebrated at 10:30am at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Dunellen with burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
